So called independant poll in Herald this morning has Brown 11 points ahead of Banksie. Can't beleive it - just confirms the Herald is full of the Red Brigade!

What a dumb comment! Herald used digipol, first independant survey. I'm buying Shippley as Banks is gone burger...

Some trader had prior knowledge of this poll as there has been steady Brown buying over the past week ... just shows ipredict works and encourages insider trading!

....now who is the trader that works for Digi-Poll? come on - own up

Yep I think you are onto it Corbsian. Also looks like a single trader has been struggling to prop up Banks by selling short on Brown and buying large amounts of Banks (thanks for the opportunity to make a few quick $$$) but the cheque book isnt large enough to close the gap on an independant poll showing a 11 point lead. Surely someone else from the Right has to stand, Banks is dead man walking.

I just hope Banksies buyer opens up the cheque book a bit more... come on now spread it around lets all have some!

Aha! Banksies buyer returned to the market at 12.40 (after a strategy meeting perhaps?) and shorted 400 Brown and bought 700 Banks stocks! ... moneys no object obviously - excellent!!

Team Banks seems to think that manipulating the iPredict market will bring them success. I look forward to taking their money.

Looked at it but not worth it (which others must also think given price and no volume) as I dont think she would be interested, shame we dont have another quality canidate from the right

An emotional stock - a great opportunity to keep cashing in on Banks mates or mate - more $$ than sense!!

I am not one of those and I am not even in Auckland......BUT, how CAN you be so cocksure that Banks won't win?

PGC: Who cares who will win? This is about making money from fools, not some election.

A part from the fact Banks has never acheived anything and can't be trusted, I'm with mrh, it's great making money off some tosser that is trying to manipulate stock with excessive shorting of brown and huge buys of banks in the face of an independant poll - someones living in a fools paradise, but who cares he should be encouraged to continue.

Fwiw i've just started participating this stock on the 'sell Banks' side even though my politics is far right. I just think Banks is way to devisive to unite the City so even I will vote for Brown if another half decent candidate is not forthcoming. Surely there is somebody out there with some credibility that wants the job?

Legs good comment unfortuantly I don't think we will see another serious canidate as the cost to run a campaign is in the $100's of thousands. Agree Banks won't cut it and we need someone else but who and if they are any good will Banks do the RIGHT thing and step aside?

Agree, any "other" candidate will have to be already a household name.

No, I'm pretty sure I'd vote for Andrew Williams before I would vote for Sue Bradford! Fortunately, I won't have to make such a hideous choice.
