Would be good to know, especially for the top 10 traders.

Eg the user "Economist", I assume is an economist by trade and therefore you'd put more weight on comments made by Economist relating to stocks on the economy.

Knowing the background of each trader on ipredict might help, when reading the forums and everyone is putting their 2 cents in, to know who the experts in that given field are.

You assume correctly - although given some of the abuse the economics profession gets on a regular basis about our apparent lack of foresight, I'll leave it up to you about how much extra weight you put on any comments I make about economic stocks winking smiley

Student - but only for a few more hours, then into the "real" world. I have been studying Economics, Finance and Accounting. Most things I say is my opinion (not fact), which is usually wrong!

Currency trading - studied economics and finance so tend to stick to those contracts but my political opinions/ambitions often drag me into having a crack on those especially around election time

Forecasting and financial modelling for a media company. I get to hear lots of uniformed media gossip, which doesn't necessarily translate to super-normal returns on iPredict.

I was going to say the same things. You get rated highly as an economist for saying that. :-)
