So apparently its such a mild flu and its estimated a third of us may get it, whats the fuss?

Extrapolating the figures to date with around 25000 cases recorded and only 140 deaths, if a third of the worlds population caught it say 2.5bn then there would be around 14million deaths, or is my math wrong?

I would hate to see a serious illness! The WHO have a fair weight on their shoulders in deliberating over the response to this...

apparently the WHO are in an emergency meeting this morning so there could be some announcement afterwards...

WHO Likely to Declare World H1N1 Flu Pandemic Thursday

GENEVA, June 11 (Reuters) - The following are highlights of comments by World Health Organisation Director-General Dr Margaret Chan at a briefing on the influenza (A) H1N1 pandemic.

"Collectively, looking at that, we are satisfied that this virus is spreading to a number of a countries and it is not stoppable," she said.

Otherwise, WHO doctored statements may undermine work and achievements of other doctors (Goebbels and Mengele).
