Hi, Can you do us a favour (please) and tell us what browsers you are using, and if you know, what your screen resolution is (ie 1024x768 or whatever) thanks very muchby iTeam - Bug Report
Hi, The 'sticky' trading preference is fixed. @Alan3285, I don't actually have that data available right now, but I would like to, it would be pretty interesting to find out. It's something that we have talked about from time to time, but there always seems to be something else more important to do ...by iTeam - Bug Report
Thanks for the heads up, we'll get it fixed ASAPby iTeam - Bug Report
Hi, The average cost is, as has been described above, is an attempt to display the average cost of all the stocks bought and sold by a trader since (s)he had any position on that contract. To do this, the price of the stock is used as the cost. The equation used for this depends on whether a trader is currently long or short. ie if a trader has a long position, then this value is defineby iTeam - Bug Report
I see what you mean. That market maker needed a swift kick, which I have now done. BTW, by extreme, I am referring to approx. <1 cent and > 99cents.by iTeam - Active Stocks
Well the market maker will only go so far .. it won't place extremely low or high orders. You'll have you rely on other traders to do thatby iTeam - Active Stocks
From the portfolio page, click history, then scroll right down to the bottom of the page. There you will see transaction history, which is where the record of the "Grant" will be.by iTeam - Bug Report
Here's a list of 'known issues' Naturally these will all be fixed before this functionality goes live in the main iPredict site. Self trading is not always correctly detected in the display of the book (it is not possible to actually trade with oneself though) Summary info misaligned in IE8 Sometimes get an unwanted scroll bar in Chrome Can enter fractions in the quantity field ie 1.2 (by iTeam - Announcements
Hello again, I found out the cause of the sign up problem, now fixed. You can sign up and get multi-trading to your hearts content.by iTeam - Announcements
also, we are going to publish a list of 'known issues' for multi-trading soon. (that $undefined bug will be in there)by iTeam - Announcements
Hi, You are right, it seems there is a bug in the new play site that affects registering. Looking at that now, and hope to have a fix in soon.by iTeam - Announcements
Hi, The only thing that changed yesterday was the payout for the survey. If a trader had only deposited a small amount of money, the survey money will have bumped that up by a reasonable percentage. It's interesting to note that one or two traders, who, having had deposited less than the $20 to qualify for ROI, (and thereby flying under the radar ) have now had their total deposits pushedby iTeam - Bug Report
Great - that's very encouraging. thanksby iTeam - Bug Report

Hi all, I am just not 100% sure what is going on here, and it's not something I see here in our office at all, but I'm going to try a system level config change, and we'll see what happens. Please let me know if you see continued page stalls. thanksby iTeam - Bug Report
Sorting is now back to date/time by default. The option to choose to sort by contract first will appear soon (as you can see, it's pretty close)by iTeam - Bug Report
Hi, Apologies, this is the result of this mornings release. The ordering is supposed to default to date/time (as before) with a new option of being able to choose to group by contract. I'll get the default ordering back in place ASAPby iTeam - Bug Report
Hi, We did release a new version at that time. Sorry about the inconvenience.by iTeam - Bug Report
Has this happened for anyone recently ?by iTeam - Bug Report
Hi Oracle, This is an interesting scenario, but what's happened is that a trader has bought a lot of bundles that this contract is a part of. When buying a bundle, the trader pays $1 for the collection of contracts, but a record is kept for each individual contract. The price for that record is estimated based on the value of the combined contracts - which may not be $1 and is thereforeby iTeam - Bug Report
Hi All, Finally found out what was wrong with displaying those categories. Fixed now. cheersby iTeam - Bug Report
Just a heads up on this topic. We've been cogitating somewhat on this average cost variable. The problem is not so much with the amount itself (it can be -'ve and still be a valid average cost), but with the way it was being used to produce other amounts on that page. Just now we've manage to find a way to compute the other variables (notably gain/loss) that does not rely on average cost.by iTeam - Bug Report
Hi, That figure is mean to the the average cost to you over the time you have done any trading on that particular contract. If you had done any previous trading, that will be accounted for also. Perhaps you could check your 'history' page(s) and make sure you have included all trading on that particular contract. ?by iTeam - Bug Report
Hi, Another Friday morning, and again, a bit of downtime .... In case you are interested, and by way of explanation, we have been going through the process of upgrading the operating systems software on all our production servers. This requires reboots / restarts etc and while this can often be done during the day without affecting the site, there are times when we just have to take thiby iTeam - Bug Report
Hi Oracle, I think we have the chart issue sorted - literally - (it was a sorting issue) Should all be good now.by iTeam - Bug Report
Hi Oracle, In our logs, I can see that you shorted 8 @ .5 for 90D.JUN10.LOW - as the result of a passive trade (ie an order of yours was matched) Also, there were no trades on that stock at 7pm (or even times close to 7pm) I imagine that the confusion is caused by the same issue that has caused some charts to display incorrect data. The charts are powered by data as returned by the apiby iTeam - Bug Report
Hi, Thanks for the heads up. It turns out an upgrade on Friday meant the nightly snapshot failed. This is fixed now, however the todays change for today will be using the value at about 11:35 as the starting price.by iTeam - Bug Report
Apologies from the "iTeam" (attempting to remain anonymous ) - there was a bit of a hiccup this morning, a scheduled upgrade turned bad when one of the database servers didn't restart properly. As you may have noticed is was not possible to log in for about 45 minutes this morning. All going now though, and I see traders are accumulating once more on our trading floor. cheeby iTeam - Bug Report
Hi there, We have identified the cause of the market makers apparent lack of funds, a fix is coming v. soon.by iTeam - Bug Report
Hi, The api data issue should be fixed now. Please let us know if you still have issues there. btw, we are going to be in a position to do more work on the API pretty soon. I'm going to revive the ipredict google group and will be keen to hear about the sorts of things you'd like to be able to get from the API.by iTeam - Ask A Question
