Site Stalling Mid-load

Anyone else finding the iPredict site stalling mid load? As an example; My Portfolio page will load the first 10 contracts and stop as if the page is still downloading. The only way to get it to finish loading is to press My Portfolio again or refresh.

This happens on the NetWorth page, forums and My Portfolio. Probably not page specific.

I do get that quite often too, but I guess I just ignore it and press reload on the browser, so it hadn't really registered with me.

Yup, happens alot for me... even on the connection at work which is 10Mbit fibre... Loading the forums is normally an issue for me. Have to refresh the page every so often when it wont load.
The RSS button on each forum seems to be broken as well - wont work for me.

Now you mention it, the forums are less reliable loading than the main site.

We are on a 5/5 fibre connection at work, and I get the same there, and at home (ADSL+) so I'm pretty sure it is not a connection issue at my end.

Same issue experienced here at work on a 500Mbps connection. No issues at home with ADSL. Using the mobile is almost hopeless.

I wonder if it is the Corporate firewall(s) getting in the way......?

I get it on my iPhone (over 3g), at work and at home.

I have the same issues at home where I have complete control over my periphery, so no way I can see it is a firewall issue.

My first guess would be it is the forum software.

I have been getting the problem but only fairly recently. Pretty much the only site I'm having the problem with at the moment.

Hi all,
I am just not 100% sure what is going on here, and it's not something I see here in our office at all, but I'm going to try a system level config change, and we'll see what happens.

Please let me know if you see continued page stalls.

thanks

Sorry, bit late on this one.

I noticed this as well starting about two or three weeks ago. Been away for the last couple of days and when I logged in on public computers I didn't have the problem, so I assumed it was something on my home computer.

Running Firefox 3.5.9 on Mac OS X 10.6.3. Just figured it was a recent software update. What OS are the posters above using?

I have real trouble loading iPredict, especially the forums, at work on Internet Explorer. At home, on Firefox, I have no problems at all.

Hi Taurusport,
have you noticed any difference since my last post here (last Thursday) ?

Either at home or work?

This does seem to be a network issue, and I'm trying to work out if it's firewalls here or at workplaces or some kind of lethal combination. I did find an issue that I fixed on Thursday, but it seems it's not the only one.
