Yep, me too - I usually have to look through all the NZ economics categories to find what I want. Please could we also have a compact and simple spreadsheet-style listings page, without all the graphics and so on, that lists all the stocks - something like what you'd see if they were all in the Watch list? The 'All' page is too big (too much info per entry) to easily look through. ORACLEby Funfinite - Feature Requests

For anyone keen having an approximation of this feature until iPredict implements it, I've extended my previous greasemonkey script to do this (Firefox only). New version of the script and instructions are available here. For the technically inclined: this uses the new-ish 'DOM Storage' javascript API to persist the notes text - it ends up in the local browser user profile. So obviously itby Funfinite - Feature Requests
I would also appreciate this (and it's something I can't easily hack in with Greasemonkey, unless maybe I try to use DOM storage or something) One use I'd make of it: when selling/covering only part of a holding, the 'Avg cost' fields change to incorporate profits/losses so far. I can see why it does this, but I don't like it since it makes it hard to see what is going on if you're making freqby Funfinite - Feature Requests
There could be an element of people misunderstanding the trading interface and the order book... If you choose the 'standard' trading interface instead of 'advanced', then you enter only a number of stocks to buy/sell, instead of both price and number. That's going to confuse newcomers for big orders, because it hides how this relates to the order book and the prices of the matching orders.by Funfinite - Active Stocks
Will the Wellington Council revoke the pedestrian-only status of Manners Mall? Don't forget, prices are bound to rise a lot over the next few months: diary demand is always highest just before Christmas, because they are a popular way of spreading the milk of human kindness for those who can't think of a better present. OK, I got inspired by this and had a go at creating a script using Greasemonkey to do roughly what I describe in my earlier post. (For anyone unfamiliar with it, Greasemonkey is a Firefox plugin which lets you define bits of javascript to customize pages, based on the URL.) Instructions and more details are here. Use at your own risk, and it may break when the site changes, but the worst itby Funfinite - Feature Requests
For trading on market ups and downs, I like to have a bunch of active orders in place ready for when the market shifts. I have quite a few stocks I'm following at the moment so I have a lot of active orders. For me, there are two major problems with the current UI: - I can't easily see which stocks in my portfolio have corresponding active orders. When you make a new trade for a stock, using the Advanced trading interface, you can click one of the orders listed in the book, and it automatically enters those details in the edit fields as a corresponding Buy/Sell to match that order. This is great, and I also tend to use it as a time-saver when placing limit orders just to one side of existing orders - I click one then edit the value, then cby Funfinite - Feature Requests
Those are all good, but I would like links both to the relevant 'Stock Details' page (do=stock_detail) and the 'Trade' page (do=trade) for the stock just traded. The latter could be called 'Trade this stock again'. An alternative which I think would be very convenient and which I would much prefer: the 'Trade Complete' page could be removed, and instead show the 'Trade' page again at this poinby Funfinite - Feature Requests

For your web server maintainers: Although a lot of static image/js/css content on the site takes proper advantage of browser caching, it seems that many of the remaining items (those which are not cached but are requested from the server every page, plus the page itself) are being served with HTTP 'Connection: close' headers. Because I didn't have much spare cash lying around, I've made lots of small deposits to my ipredict account. First, thanks for adding this column in the redesign! I think the value is wrong, however. To mean the same as the value column in 'stock I own', it should show the amount of money I will get added to my account if I close the position - that is: value of short = (deposit refund) - (cost of buying stocks to cover the position) i.e.: value of short = (number of stocks) x ($1.00 - lowestby Funfinite - Bug Report
Re. the "deposit cash" page using the credit card option: I used it a couple of weeks ago; on using it again today, I found the browser's form auto-complete feature has remembered my credit card number, details - even the verification code! I also prefer concept 1. It feels cleaner and less cluttered. I especially like the My Performance graph on the My Portfolio page. Admin, please do NOT post such a contract. I think it is a given that time travellers would return from some point in the distant future if the opportunity to profit from this contract existed in their past. There is no clear penalty for time travellers trading and there would be plenty of incentive to do so. Since I'm still using a tiny screened first generation Eee PC a lot of the time (though expecting to upgrade soon), I would currently be strongly against making the pages wider! DUNEDIN.STADIUM is currently showing this on the stock detail page: Todays Change: $0.45 (90.52%) That can't be right.
