United Future has been de-registered, and therefore will be unable to contest the party vote:

Correct. However they appear to believe that the cancelation will only be temporary [www.scoop.co.nz]

There's plenty of time for them to re-register before the next election. It would only close at $0 if they passed the point of no return for registration. No idea when that is, but I'd guess nomination day, as per the various leader stocks?

Hi, for the "prediction" figure in this list

please divide the figures for the new stocks by 10.

I question whether it's a good idea to run stocks in this format, with scaled payouts based on vote %. Firstly, it's not very attractive to ipredict investors - the final payout won't be hugely different from the amount they put in. Secondly, they're subject to manipulation by party operatives who want to create the impression that their party has more support than it does. We've seen this many times in both the 2011 and 2014 stocks.

We have received the following question about the Internet party and Mana party vote share contracts.

"If Internet Party and Mana merge where does this leave the VOTE.2014.INTERNET stock? If mana and IP both get 2% does the stock then value at 4% or 2%"

For the vote share stocks, it is our understanding that only one of the two parties would receive list votes, in which case that one would pay out proportionate to the vote share and the other would pay $0, or they would have to create an umbrella party similar to the Alliance, in which case neither party would receive any list votes and so both stocks would pay $0.

So the new party is seemingly called the Internet Mana party, so do BOTH Mana and Internet prty vote pay out $0...?
