Why is the NZX50 prediction still open?

I am a relatively new trader who would like to invest in NZX50 daily predictions, but I'm confused by why they seem to stay open long after the final numbers are posted. For example, today (20/11/12) the prediction that it will close higher is trading at 92%. First, why at 10pm is it still trading at all, and second, why is it not trading at 100%, given that the NZX50 is indeed up today? I know I'm missing something, but what?

Welcome to iPredict jhalbers smiling smiley

92 was that last price it traded at. But the highest buy was about 99+ so you wouldn't be able to get it for 92. It just means that there have been no trades since the price was at 92.

Close time varies, it's really just whenever admin gets around to closing it. But usually it is closed by the next morning at the latest.
