Tremain seems a good pick for Other.

I am astonished there hasn't been an announcement from Key yet. Presumably we'll have to wait until National's next caucus meeting.

I very much doubt it'd be Tremain; he's seen as inexperienced. Also, if it's Guy or Foss, then Tremain gets a promotion either way: senior whip or chair finance & expenditure.

Best argument against Foss getting it is the question of what happens to finance & expenditure—National has a bunch of finance-expert types high up, but the bench could be deeper.

One argument against Guy is that he's needed as whip, where pretty much everyone acknowledges he's done okay. Another is that he might not be an internal-affairs kinda guy.

Jo Goodhew's the dark horse. Hekia Parata would be a very cool surprise, though.

.GUY, .FOSS, .GOODHEW are all underpriced, I think; all the others are overpriced. My money's on Nathan Guy.

Any stock where leaks can occur generally work well. Ipredict is an information sieve.
