Gender make-up

Completely out of pure interest, what do other traders think that the gender make-up of iPredict users is?

I can't remember many traders signing off with usernames that suggest they are female; compare some names from the top 25 ROI: "rocketman", "JoshuaJ", "MrSneaky", "ben" and "mikey_mike".

In fact, on a quick review of the top 100, only "natasha11" stands out in the first instance as being of the fairer sex.

Any guesses as to this site, or trading sites in general? I note that the "Create an account" page only asks for bare information (as it should do).

I'd be guessing > 95% male.

Men dominate the fields of financial trading, economics and politics, so the intersection of all of these (iPredict) will also be male-dominated.

Ah, but are things always as they seem?

Until we get, say, two female forum users to contradict pipe42, I'd have to agree.

Burning out his fuse out here alone.... and I think its going to be a long long time.....
