Is this a market observation experiment - hence no explanation? FYI when I see 25 online I say there's little interest in following stocks or making a play, but when there's 70-80 on then there's a good chance moves will be followed and new trades occur (so a judgment as opposed to a liquidity observation). Without the info there you can make an educated guess when the dead times are, but I thought this market operated on the principle of all information was good information?

There was a time when these types of issues got a timely response. Unfortunately, it seems to be a very low priority now.
