I know that sports are generally out, but I think this is more of a society thing than a sport thing, perhaps it would be ok, it's not a contract on the outcome of a sport, just if it happened at all? Given all the problems with the games village and other facilities in India, there is probably a reasonable chance that NZ might not be willing to attend, or even that the games could be postponed.
