New Stocks announced by Tweet

It appears that Twitter updates are received free on Vodafone and Telecom mobiles. So it would be pretty cool to get new stocks or other iPredict announcements via a tweet.

The only trouble is, I would get frustrated if I got these messages and wasn't able to take advantage of them (if I were up a mountain or somesuch).

Good idea - had it on our list for a while.

And how about this: follow individual traders, with and only with their permission, on Twitter.

e.g. "[Trader X] just bought 20 stocks of [stock y]"

What else can we do with Twitter?

Anybody got expertise in Twitter automation, by any chance?

Not that I use twitter, but those people who do might like updates on:
- When a stock pays out;
- When a stock reaches a pre-determined price;
- When a buy/sell active order... uh... activates; and
- When dutching posts a link.

Also:

- When a stock is suspended
- When a stock is removed from suspension
- When a bundle is added (although this is really just when a new stock is added, I guess)
