Long Description
This stock will pay $1 if MP and Minister of Finance Bill English announces his retirement or resignation from Parliament before midnight on 31st December 2017. Otherwise it pays $0.
Judging Criteria
Any announcement must be definitive and made by a suitable authority. Contract will immediately close at $1 upon an announcement.
'Not being a candidate for Parliament' includes not being a candidate for any party or as an independent in any electorate, AND not being a candidate on any party list.
If there is no announcement by a suitable authority the contract will close when the Electoral Commission publishes a list of all candidates for the General Election.
iPredict's decision is final.
This contract will be closed no later than 3 working days after the Close Date. The Close Date may be extended if the event outcome cannot be determined by that date.
