Long: This contract pays $1 if Stephen Tindall announces he will run for Auckland mayoralty in 2010. Otherwise this contract pays $0.
Judging: The purpose of this contract is to measure the likelihood that Stephen Tindall will announce his entry into the Auckland mayoralty race in 2010.
Any announcement must be definitive. Words to the effect "likely to" or "am considering" will not be consoidered definitive.
The mayoralty Mr Tindall runs for must govern a territory (or be expected to govern a territory) that includes the Auckland Skytower.
This contract is not affected by whether the Auckland Supercity concept goes ahead, or in what form it takes. This contract does not depend on the title Mayor of Auckland per se.
If this person announces they will not stand in 2010 elections for Mayor of Auckland, or does not stand as a candidate, then this contract will close at $0.
To avoid the risk of closing this contract early, this contract will close no earlier than the day nominations close, unless it is CERTAIN this person will not stand for election.
