As you all probably know, the site has gone offline a few times for extended periods in the last month or two. I think we deserve to get a brief summary of what caused these issues and whether we can expect them to be ongoing or whether they have been resolved. I understand that with the site winding down, there is probably very little time allocated to administration but I'm only asking for a brief summary.
Has the site perhaps been migrated to a cheaper server to reduce costs? This would be understandable given that as the site winds down, fewer and fewer trades could mean eventually the transaction fees would no longer meet the fixed costs.
Another possibility would be some sort of hardware fault. I notice we have lost about a year worth of posts from the forum. Although the forum seems to fairly separate from the main site because it can be offline while the main site is still functioning so perhaps that's unlikely to be the cause.
