Browse All - Not Working?

Hi,

The 'browse all' screen appears to be broken right now (17:00hrs, 6 Apr 2010).

It only shows a few stocks (about 19 if I counted right).

Confirm this. Was just going to write the same thing.

Also, the NZ Politics and/or Political Polls categories have vanished.

And, the format of the browse page has changed slightly, so I guess there is some kind of 'upgrade' in progress.

I'm only seeing the NZ issues, international issues, and international politics categories. Other stocks have disappeared (though I can still trade them from my portfolio)

Seems all trading pages are accessible via the Easy API.

I'll just take this opportunity to drop in a link to said Easy API.

I think everything is accessible - it seems to be only that the 'browse all' page is not displaying properly.

I could be wrong though?

Has anyone found anything that isn't functioning properly (as opposed to just failing to display)?

Hi Pipe,

Is there any way to get the full book of a given stock by direct URL from your website?

I can do it by clicking on the options, but to get it into Excel directly, I'd have to give it a URL.

Not to take anything away from Pipe and the work he has done with the API.

But I would expect these things to be working on the IPredict site, such as the browse stocks and the calculations for the today’s change as mentioned previously.

It is a bit frustrating to have errors on the main site I would expected updates to the site to be thoroughly tested before going live especially given the site is dealing with real money. Although nothing that I'm aware of has happened yet with the data and the errors are generally superfluous such as things not displaying correctly or calculations not correct, Without proper checks in place it’s only going to be a matter of time before there is a data error.

I totally agree with you. The only reason I mentioned the API was for those who really wanted to access a trading page that they had no other way of getting to, the API is a 'working' option.
