renaming Wanganui

What about a simple binary stock to see what the official name of the city is at, say, Dec 31, or whenever this is supposed to be resolved. Will it be Wanganui, or Whanganui (with an H). It would be an interesting one to follow and is by no means certain one way or the other at this stage.

Or would this be considered entertainment considering the circus surrounding it?

I'm not sure this one would meet the criteria of our authorisation, which is one of business, political, economic, demographic or sociological. Possibly political, but not any of the others. Probably not something we can safely run.

I would have thought this would be a pretty safe one to be honest - I hadn't even considered it being a problem.

Peter, yes you might be right. I can run this past our lawyer. The problem for us is we can't ask our regulator - we'll only find out after the fact that we have transgressed, and the consequences of that are serious. Upshot: we have to be very conservative.
