Is it possible to stop this splitting into two pages for the "stocks i own" section? Flipping between pages is a pain, especially when you have three related stocks and two of them are on page 2 and the other on page 1.

Yes I want to increase to 20 stocks per page
Re: My Portfolio pages

Cheers, the change is good, 20 is much better.

We're going to go infinite on your suggestion. Affects very few traders and I can't see the harm in it.

Mine is split over two pages again this morning (can't see ZIM.MUGABE).

Hi, this question is likely to have been asked but I can't find it anywhere so: Can we please have the daily price movement for each stock holding displayed in the portfolio summary page? At present it's impossible to tell how each stock is performing for that particular day, as opposed to market price movement away from initial purchase price. This field could sit between Difference and Value fields.

Thanks.

And, while we are at it....

Please can we have the 'Active Orders' all appear on one page too.

It is really a pain having it split over two pages when you have a lot of orders in the market, and I have personally reduced mine to keep them on one page, which is negative for market liquidity of course.

Thanks,

Alan.

PS: Can anyone explain the 'mania' for splitting into multiple pages. It seems to be such a common thing on many websites, and is always a pain in the neck. The only thing I can think of is that it speeds page loading - but that hasn't been an issue for a decade or more, so I doubt that is now the reason. Just wondering. spinning smiley sticking its tongue out

I think in part this trend relates to attention expectations and retaining end-user focus and improving time spent on-site

I don't understand.

If a user is 'casual' they likely won't have that many items anyway, and if they have lots, they are going to be a committed player who just finds it annoying having to click more times / not being able to see everything in one place.

Some sites do it to increase the number of ad impressions of course (the Herald has gotten really bad about that since their 'upgrade' a year or more ago), but IPredict doesn't run ads).

The best answer, as always, is not to hardwire in 20, 50, or 250, but to let the user choose. It can't be very difficult.

Alan.

Has there been any progress on this? It would be extremely helpful for quick monitoring of relevant activity.
If it requires more voices calling for it, then please add this one.
Cheers

OK, nothing has happened ... are you listening Mr Admin? I HATE loading my account, seeing I'm down in value and not knowing immediately where the cause lies. A column with daily movement SURELY can't be that difficult to implement? Come on, make my (and a bunch of others) day!

Cheers!
