Such a list could even be as simple as a few forum topics. Only problem there is that we'll know who's making the orders and that may influence our decision to buy them.

I recommend the page be labelled 'latest orders' in the 'browse' column on the 'browse predictions' page. If you are, for example, long stock A and short stock B which make up all or most of a bundle (e.g. US.REPUBLICAN12 and US.DEMOCRATIC12) then you can convert to a position that is purely long stock A by buying bundles, but you can't convert to a position that is purely short stock B by selling bundles.

Petrol stocks are an example of how this could be useful. I found a petrol stock on the most traded list. Wanting to review the other stocks in that bundle, I went searching for the list. Petrol stocks used to be in a category called "Petrol and Oil", which no longer exists. It took a wee bit of perusing before I found them in NZ Economics. Perhaps, the fees should be increased. Or maybe higher fees just for the top 100 traders. I would be willing to fork over some dough to get a few features implemented.

I suggest running a few stocks with 3 digits and seeking feedback from ipredict users. If users prefer 3 digits, make that the norm. I think the method of calculation should be something like this:

((previous avg. * previous holdings) + (cost of new stocks * new stocks)) / total holdings


Example

This should work for both buy and sell.
If part of a position is closed the average should stay the same.
I have written the calculation section as I would if I was programming.

This would be different than the net worth value, as I believe net worth uses the last traded price for each stock.

I would also like a Firesale button which would (after confirmation) close all positions at the best price.
