Long Description
This contract pays $1 if Annette King announces she will stand as a candidate for the Wellington Mayoralty in 2013. Otherwise this contract pays $0.
Judging Criteria
The contract refers to the Mayoralty of Wellington City or any wider local body jurisdiction of which Wellington City becomes a part such as, for example, a unitary council for the Wellington region.
iPredict will only consider a definitive statement of Ms King's candidacy by a person authorised to make the announcement as relevant. iPredict will not consider as definitive words to the effect that she "is considering" or "is very likely to" stand for the mayoralty.
A public statement by Ms King DEFINITIVELY ruling out her candidacy will cause this contract to close at $0.
iPredict reserves the right to seek clarification prior to closing this contract.
This contract refers to the first Wellington elections which will determine the Wellington mayoralty held after the launch of this contract, whether this election is held in 2013 or not.
iPredict's judgment is final.
