Long Description
This contract pays $1 if a current Labour Member of Parliament, as of the launch of this contract, stands at the next Wellington local government election. Otherwise, this contract pays $0.
Judging Criteria
The purpose of this contract is to determine the likelihood a current Labour MP will stand in the next Wellington local government elections, set to be in 2016.
For the purposes of this contract, the candidate must have been a Labour MP at the launch of this contract.
This contract will pay $1 if a Labour Member of Parliament stands for any vacant position on the Wellington City Council at the next election, including as a Councillor, or Mayor, and will close following a definitive announcement of a the MP's candidacy.
The contract refers to candidates for the Wellington City Council. If the Wellington City Council joins a wider unitary council, then this contract will follow the new council.

This contract will be closed no later than 3 working days after the Close Date. The Close Date may be extended if the event outcome cannot be determined by that date.
