Long Description

This contract pays $1 if Odlins Plaza, Wellington is used as a fan zone for Rugby World Cup 2011 Final. Otherwise this contract pays $0.

Judging Criteria 

For the purposes of this contract, 'fan zone' means an organised event held in a public space in Odlins Plaza, Wellington City, which includes a live (or delayed by no more than 10 minutes) screening of the Rugby World Cup Final on a big screen.

The fan zone must be open to the general public. This contract is not affected by whether the event is ticketed or whether there is a fee for entry.

This contract is not affected by whether the fan zone is publicly or privately funded or organised.

This contract will immediately close at $1 if it is a) definitively announced by a person holding suitable authority that Odlins Plaza
will be used as a fan zone for any period that includes the Rugby World Cup Final, and b) iPredict is not aware of any reason this
position will change (for example, an RMA consent has not been issued). iPredict reserves the right to delay closing this contract pending clarification.

This contract will close at $0 before the RWC Final if and only if all of the following conditions are met:

a) it is definitively announced Odlins Plaza will not be used as a fan zone for Rugby World Cup Final, and

b) Odlins Plaza was not used as a fan zone for any Rugby World Cup semi final, and

c) iPredict is not aware of any serious attempt to organise a fan zone for the World Cup Final at Odlins Park.

That is, this contract will not close before 16 October 2011 under any circumstances.

iPredict is not associated with Rugby World Cup.

This contract will be closed no later than 3 working days after the Close Date. The Close Date may be extended if the event outcome cannot be determined by that date.
