Long Description

This contract pays $1 if the Reserve Bank of Australia increases the cash rate by 25 points at its meeting on 4 May 2010, $0 otherwise.

Judging Criteria 

This contract is judged according to the scheduled cash rate announcement on 4 May 2010. This contract's payout is not affected by a change to the cash rate before or after this date, unless:

a) an alternative cash rate announcement occurs within 72 hours (before or after) of the start of 4 May 2010 (Australian Eastern Standard Time); and

b) REPLACES the 4 May 2010 announcement.

In these circumstances, this contract will be judged based on this alternative announcement. This contract closes at $0 if there is no cash rate announcement that meets these criteria. The contract's Close Date will be extended up to 72 hours if there is no announcement on 4 May 2010.

The cash rate announcement must be made by a person holding suitable authority.

This contract will be closed no later than 3 working days after the Close Date. The Close Date may be extended if the event outcome cannot be determined by that date.
