This contract pays $1 if Celia Wade-Brown is elected Mayor of Wellington at the next local body elections; otherwise it pays $0.

Judging Criteria 

The purpose of this contract is to forecast the probability that Celia Wade-Brown will be elected Mayor of Wellington in the next local body elections.
The next local body elections are expected on 12 October 2013 but the contract will be based on the next local body elections for Mayor of Wellington whenever they are held.
This includes a situation, such as that which occurred with Environment Canterbury (ECAN) when central government replaced the elected officials with a commissioner. In such a case, the contract would remain open until elections were eventually held.
The contract will payout when, in iPredict's sole opinion, the election result is not in doubt.
iPredict may close the contract at the last traded price if, for a period of at least one week, its price remains below $0.01.
Otherwise, the contract will remain open until an election result is known.
iPredict's judgment is final.
All dates and times are NZ time.

This contract will be closed no later than 3 working days after the Close Date. The Close Date may be extended if the event outcome cannot be determined by that date.
