Judging Criteria
The purpose of this stock is to ascertain whether New Zealand will hold a referendum on becoming a republic by 1 January 2020.
For this stock to pay $1, it is sufficient that it's reported at both www.stuff.co.nz and www.nzherald.co.nz or similar website that New Zealand will hold a referendum on becoming a republic before 1 January 2020.
Becoming a republic means that a member of the Royal family will no longer be our Head of State.
