Long Description
This contract pays $1 if Steve Chadwick is elected Mayor of Rotorua in the next local body elections. Otherwise this contract pays $0.
Judging Criteria
The purpose of this contract is to forecast the probability that Steve Chadwick will be elected Mayor of Rotorua in the next local body elections.
The next local body elections are expected on 12 October 2013 but the contract will be based on the next local body elections for Mayor of Rotorua whenever they are held.
The contract will payout when, in iPredict's sole opinion, the election result is not in doubt. If Ms Chadwick does not register as a candidate for Mayor at the next local body election, the contract will immediately close at $0.
Otherwise, the contract will remain open until an election result is known.
iPredict's decision is final
This contract will be closed no later than 3 working days after the Close Date. The Close Date may be extended if the event outcome cannot be determined by that date.
