This contract pays $1 if the Auditor-General inquiry into Shane Jones' decision to give Bill Liu citizenship can reasonably be interpreted as being critical of the probity of the decision; otherwise it pays $0.

Judging Criteria 

IN TRADING THIS STOCK, TRADERS ACKNOWLEDGE THAT ITS JUDGMENT INVOLVES A DEGREE OF SUBJECTIVITY AND AGREE THAT IPREDICT'S JUDGMENT ON ITS CLOSING PRICE IS FINAL

The contract concerns the inquiry announced here http://www.oag.govt.nz/media/2012/citizenship and the report that it announces it will be published.

If a report is not published or if it does not otherwise become available, such as under the Official Information Act, by 1 January 2015, the contract will close at $0.

The contract will close at $1 if the report can reasonably be interpreted as being critical of the probity of the decision. In deciding the closing price, iPredict will look for words describing Mr Jones' decision such as "inappropriate," "unjustified," "improper," or "unlawful," which would suggest the contract should close at $1, or words describing his decision such as "justified," "proper" which would suggest the contract should close at $0.

iPredict will publish a provisional decision on the forum and consider comments before making a final decision on the closure price.

iPredict's decision is final.

This contract will be closed no later than 3 working days after the Close Date. The Close Date may be extended if the event outcome cannot be determined by that date.
