Long Description
This contract will close at $1 if New Zealand's net greenhouse gas emissions for 2014 are greater than or equal to 60 million tonnes and lower than 65 million tonnes. If not, it will close at $0.
Judging Criteria
The purpose of this contract is to forecast the likelihood that New Zealand's net greenhouse gas emissions for 2014 will be greater than or equal to 60 million tonnes and lower than 65 million tonnes.
This contract uses data published by the Ministry for the Environment regarding New Zealand's annual greenhouse gas emissions. The latest publication can be found here.
This data is usually published 15 months after the year it is recording, to allow for data to be accurately collected. This contract will close when the data is first officially published by the Ministry. Any revisions or changes made to the first publication of data will not affect the outcome of this contract.

This contract will be closed no later than 3 working days after the Close Date. The Close Date may be extended if the event outcome cannot be determined by that date.
